Practice Lang :)

February 24, 2013

Ate Ramona, my gorgeous cousin from France, celebrated her birthday here in the Philippines. Actually, she had tons of birthday parties organized by her loving friends so she reserved her special day just for us, family members. We had lunch at Gloria Maris, Greenhills.

And because daughter will celebrate her birthday a day after, naki-pose na rin sya sa Hello Kitty cake. Hahaha.

I love how nice the Hello Kitty cake was done. The cake was made by Teacher Cake. :)

Midnight Buffet At Corniche

February 23, 2013

This is our suprise pre-birthday treat to daughter. So earlier today, I nagged her about taking a nap (which she wasn't able to do because of Battle Cat or was it Cat Battle?) so that she won't feel sleepy when we go to the midnight buffet at Corniche, Diamond Hotel. Of course, I didn't tell her that we're going to a buffet because she'll be very excited. Yes, she loves to eat and lucky her because she remains skinny. Life's not fair. :(

Yabba Yabba Yabu

February 20, 2013

Daughter and I had a spur-of-the-moment dinner plan with C, little C and Uncle Panda today at Yabu in Robinsons Magnolia. So as soon as daughter's class ended today, we were off to Magnolia. Actually, I was dreaming of Thai food but since Uncle Panda haven't tried dining at Yabu (gasp!) yet- and also, because C is treating us (and also as an advance birthday treat to daughter) so we ended up there. Besides, I love the food at Yabu.

Buffet Madness At Corniche

Excited much!
I've been avoiding food since our Baguio trip early this month where we did nothing but eat, sleep, eat, sleep.

And this "Late Night Buffet Madness" is a special treat to ----- who loves to read my food blog so I'll keep mum about it for now. I already made the reservation for Saturday. ;)

Lunch At Brent

January 31, 2013

Arrived in Baguio earlier than usual so instead of asking W to pick us up (me and daughter) at the bus station, we decided to just take the cab and surprise W and M at home. And yes, they were really surprised since they are still in their jammies when we arrived on their doorstep. Hahaha.

We can't resist not joining them for breakfast- hot cocoa (very apt for that cold morn) and toasted bread and jam. Then we had an hour or two to kill before lunchtime so we just lazed around in the attic- our assigned room. Actually, daughter and I love the attic since we already slept there during our first stay with W and M.

Yomenya Goemon

January 27, 2013

Daughter and I met up with C after lunch today at Greenbelt for a much needed Sunday mall tour. We had fun checking the SALE items and having tea and muffins at Figaro. But the real highlight of our tour was Yomenya Goemon.

We've already heard about this Japanese Spaghetti House in Greenbelt but since we don't usually frequent the area, it is only now that we were able to dine here.

That's the window display. Very nice. And that's daughter, salivating over the yummy choices. Hahaha.

Pre-Vdate at Le Amoretto

February 11, 2013

I didn't know that we were gonna dine here because I just accompanied hubby who has a business meeting at Le Amoretto. But lucky me- I got treated to an early Valentine's Day date. Also, this is one of those few times that hubby and I got to spend some "only-us" time because daughter has school the following day and she has tons of homework to do so she chose to stay home (alone) instead. Thank you, teachers! :D

Iced-Mocha. Hubby's default order (everytime/everywhere). Looks deliciously but I am not a coffee drinker. I just love the smell of coffee. Besides, I get sleepy when I drink coffee. No kidding. Btw, I love the pink carnation and mums. I think that roses on Valentine's Day are overrated.
