Prior to our Baguio trip last January, I already made a mental note to dine at Bliss Cafe simply because I just heard about it. And also, the owner, Ms. Shanti Isla is a friend. So I bugged W and M until they agreed to dine there. Actually, I was a bit apprehensive about W and M's family dining at Bliss Cafe since it is a vegetarian restaurant but M assured me that they are "anytarians." Great!
Bliss Cafe is conveniently located at Hotel Elizabeth along Gibraltar Road. Simply tell the cab driver to take you to Hotel Elizabeth or if you are driving, it is near Minesview Park.
I've been hearing about great food reviews about the breakfast buffet of Ramada Manila in Ongpin from co-parents at my daughter's school but it is only today that I was able to try it. And considering that it's a rainy Friday morning, I pray that the food will be delish. Buffet breakfast costs P400 nett.
Wishing my female family members and friends, Happy Women's Day.
Don't forget to treat yourself today, okay?
Had a planned breakfast date today with my "super-(mom) friends" at Ramada Central Manila. J and I were curious about the buffet since C and I dined there about a week ago. But this time around, C had to beg off because she has tons of things on her mind. That's another kwento, for our ears only.
And I thought this year's Valentine's Day would just be normal and uneventful day since we already celebrated it last Monday but surprise, surprise.
Hubby and I opened a box of Bailey's truffles on Valentine's Eve. Actually, I was busy watching koreanovela when hubby suddenly approached me (he slept early) and gave me a kiss. Huh? Oh, Valentine's Day na! Hahaha. Ayan, huli tuloy ako na mas "sweet" si hubby. :P
Then we scheduled a late lunch (to avoid the lunch crowd) at Ristorante delle Mitre because we're craving for some crispy pata and because we are also treating Jade to a belated birthday treat. We missed going to her debut party because hubby and I had a work-related event to attend to that same night and its on the other end of the planet.
Since Daughter's birthday falls on a Tuesday, and they also have C.E.M. post-test scheduled today, she can only treat her friends during snack time which is like 15 minutes. She asked me to buy different kinds of sushi instead of pizza, which was easier to order and with FREE DELIVERY service. Oh wells, she doesn't really make requests like that so its okay. I'll go to the Japanese restaurant and order tons of sushi for her and her friends. Also, the night before her birthday, we bought some cookies and candies and chocolates as giveaways.
