Singaporean Dinner at Nanyang Greenbelt 5

Our craving for laksa and chicken rice led us to the newly opened Nanyang in Greenbelt 5. My daughter also happen to like milk teas and I remember that Nanyang has one of the best milk teas that I've tasted. You can read about it here when I joined the SM Food Crawl -- Singaporean Kopi Tiam and SM Aura Food Crawl.

Sweet Holiday Treats at Sugarhouse

Fat Fook Manila

Fat Fook Manila, the restaurant that's been making foodies excited with its Taiwanese noms opened its latest branch at The Globe Tower in BGC. The restaurant which has a seating capacity of about 40, also has a dedicated take-out counter should you have cravings for yummy Taiwanese snacks.

There's a lot of interesting noms from the menu but here are my favorites:

Taiwanese Sausage on sticks. I've been hearing about this amazing sausages from my friends who has been to Taiwan and its on the must-try list. And thanks to Fat Fook Manila, I don't have to fly to Taiwan to enjoy these sausages. It tastes sweet but the meat is firm and not as oily as our local sausage (longganisa). The garlic inserted on the sausages looks weird but it adds some flavor to it. I'm guessing that this sausages are best paired with a bottle of beer. ;)

Nanyang: A Singaporean Kopi Tiam at SM Aura

Having stayed in Singapore for a week last August made me crave for its famous Chicken Rice and Laksa. I remember having the most memorable laksa-experience at Nanyang Old Coffee when I went to Chinatown in SG, and the chicken rice stall near my hotel in Geylang. And lucky me because I got invited by SM Super Malls to join a food crawl in SM Megamall and SM Aura Premier, and it includes a Singaporean themed restaurant called- Nanyang. You can read about the food crawl here --- AweSMFeast Food Crawl.

#EatPlayShopInTheCity Food Crawl at SM City North EDSA

Had another round of food crawl- #EatPlayShopInTheCity SM City North EDSA where we got to try dishes from new and old restaurants plus did a bit of shopping and shoot some arrows. Being a Manilena, I don't frequent Quezon City that much so I really enjoyed the interesting mix of dining choices during the food crawl.

Our food crawl began at Number 1 Barbecues located at the main building of SM North. It's my first time there and we were served a several choices of Pinoy favorites. The dishes that I liked best though are the sisig and the chicken barbecue.

FOOD FINDS: Christmas Drinks 2018

Christmas is the most awaited season of the year and almost all establishments has concocted a special drink for the season. Listing down some of the drinks that I've tasted and curious to taste.

The first Christmas drink that I've tried this year is the Ube Ice Blended drink from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. This is a very Pinoy drink concocted especially for CBTL Philippines. The taste reminds me of ube ice cream and ube halaya. This drink makes you think of your childhood Christmases with the lolos and lolas. No kidding, I had an Anton Ego moment with this drink.

Tealive in Kuala Lumpur

There's a milktea-craze in Kuala Lumpur because almost every street corner has a milktea shop. Of course, there's also the local milktea version which you can buy from the kopi-tiams and roti stalls.

We got to try Tealive when we had an unplanned tour at Sogo Department Store near Petaling Jaya in Kuala Lumpur.
