Tokyo Tonteki prides itself for the porkloin steak with which it was named for- tonteki. Having originated in Shibuya, Japan, this mouthwatering pork loin dish is not on Philippine shores.
Shusaku Namikawa, the man behind Tokyo Tonteki was able to perfect the most tender pork loin steak served with his very own flavorful sauce. The result was pork steak that is tender and juicy. And oh, did I mention that its thick also?
Milk Tea. This is tea with milk. It does taste bitter and sweet and milky at the same time. Don't expect any pearls though because they serve it as it is.
Spring Roll of Prosciutto, Avocado and Onsen Egg. It looks strange to eat but I love avocados and egg. And its love at first bite. The avocado was firm and perfect with the onsen egg (that's egg cooked in low temperature). The prosciutto adds some flavor as well as the mayo dressing, P190.
Chicken Steak with Teriyaki Sauce. Big fat, juicy chicken. It also has an unlimited serving of rice, cabbage and miso soup, P350.
Tonteki Set (Premium Pork Loin Steak). Really mouthwatering and thick juicy slices of pork loin. Hello cholesterol, be kind to me. I prefer this than the chicken because I love red meat, P375.
Tonburg Set (100% Pure Ground Pork) with Onion Steak Sauce. A hefty serving of the juiciest "burger" steak I've eaten (no kidding). And I thought I'm happy with the pork loin steak but this Tonburg Set made me change my mind. I'm in tonburg heaven! I'm tempted to finish the whole set by myself, P375.
Special Fried Rice with Egg. It looks and smells so good that I almost had a spoonful. Ok, I still don't eat rice but I know how to spot a yummy one. Thumbs up for this special fried rice, P150.
Stir-fried Japanese Mushrooms (three kinds of Japanese mushrooms). Very light yet so filling! I love the bonito flakes also because it enhances the flavors. It was stir-fried in butter. Really, really good. This is a meal itself, P250.
Ebi Fry. Fat and juicy prawns. What more can you ask for? Rice, cabbage, and miso soup are unlimited too. Yum, P340.
Creme Brulee. I love creme brulees. This one is not that sweet but you'll definitely crave for more. Serving is good for sharing also, P120.
Chocolate Pudding with Whipped Cream. After a spoonful of this, I'm already in chocolate pudding heaven. So smooth and creamy, and you can actually tastes the chocolate shavings. And its so good that we had another round of this. Good for sharing but if you're a chocoholic like me, you can finish this bowl by yourself, P120.
