Holidays Made Special with Dean & Deluca

'Tis the season of giving and what better way to spread the Christmas cheer with Dean & Deluca gift goodies in wooden crates, canvas bags, and festive red boxes.

You can customize the goodies inside the box or choose from the available ones already. Goodies include wine, jams, tea, coffee, sauces, jelly, pasta, savory goods in can or bottles, and a whole lot more.


There are also gift items like coffee press, tea pots, whisky rocks that can be paired with the yummy goodies. Or better yet, add in some freshly baked cookies or a bottle of granola.

Aside from the gift items, Dean & Deluca also offers an array of mouthwatering party specials for your Noche Buena, New Year's Eve, or holiday gathering- Cochinillo with Apple and Golden Raisin Chutney, 8-Hour Angus Roast Beef, and Slow Roast Leg of Lamb.

Other dishes Skillet Meatballs, Umami Chicken, Soft Shell Crab, Hawaiian Ahi Poke Tuna for salad and starters; Yuzu Glazed Salmon, Baby Back Ribs, and choices of Rice Bowls topped with Beef Rendang, Roast Pork Chipotle, Ahi Tuna Poke or Angus Beef.

There are also pasta and pizza choices for that Italian flare- Frutti de Mare Bucatini, Braised Beef Ragu, King Crab Prawn and Gorzonzola or the classic Pesto, Carbonara, Pomodoro and Truffle Mac and Cheese. For pizza- there's Shrimp and Calamari, Sausage Duo, Margherita, Spinach and Mushroom.

Michelin Star restaurants are suddenly multiplying especially in the Southeast Asean region with lots of homegrown restaurants getting the international recognition it deserves. Here's my take on a classic brownie recipe made special with Cointreau.

Ooma-zing Food!

Sharing one of our resto-favorite! We've been dining here for about three years now and as much as I'd like to keep this resto a secret, it's already out in the open about how good the food is at Ooma. Ooma is a Japanese-fusion restaurant so don't expect the usual Japanese dish preparations but be ready for not only a visual feast but a fusion of east and west. For starters, we had this delightful cheesy maki. I believe this is on a limited run on the menu so I really can't recall what it's called. Crunchy and cheesy really, my daughter love this so much.
