Hola! Lobster Feast At Marriott Cafe Every Monday

There's now another reason not to skip Monday because Marriott Cafe serves unlimited servings of lobster on top of Monday's lunch and dinner buffet. Yes, you got that right- unlimited servings of lobsters every Monday at Marriott Cafe.

Such an expensive treat on a Monday but lobsters are such an irresistible excuse to break one's diet. Of course, the biggest treat is that it's available during the lunch and dinner buffet every Monday beginning May 7 to August 27, 2018 for only Php 1,950 nett. How do you beat that?

The mouthwatering lobsters hails from the Atlantic and are known for its sweet and tender quality. And it is a gastronomic journey to ask the Chef's recommendation on what lobster specialty dish is perfect for you based on your preference- Lobster Thermidor, Garlic Lobster flambeed, or simply have it grilled and squeeze some lemon.

For me, I love the Steamed Lobster with lemon sauce and the Chef's recommendation which is the Lobster with Sweet Chili Sauce.

Of course, let us not forget the other International Cuisine stations that is included in the buffet.

The lobster treat doesn't end at the buffet table because each guest will be given a "token" that they can use at the Claw Catcher machine. And if you're lucky to catch a toy, you not only get to keep it but you are also going to take home a 400 grams platter of lobster. Whoa!

Inspired by animes, mangas, and JPop culture, Saigosan even has a train wherein you can hop from Kyoto to Osaka without a JR Pass!

Salcedo Market x Legaspi Market Tour

We haven't visited the weekend markets for years so I was giddy with excitement because I was able to visit both Salcedo and Legaspi markets this month, thanks to our Dusit Thani Manila staycation . To differentiate the two, Salcedo market  is held every Saturday at the Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village Makati while Legaspi market is held every Sunday at the Corinthian Carpark in Legaspi Village Makati. Since we were coming from Dusit Thani Manila, it was quite a long walk but it was early in the morning (around 8AM) and even Ayala and Makati Avenues were still without cars. Wow!

NEW RESTO ALERT: Hà Nội Phố (Ha Noi Pho)

Makati has been a go-to place for my family and I to grab a meal or sometimes just to have a cup of coffee. Though, really, it’s mostly just us visiting our favorite spots. Recently, my mom went out of town so it was just my dad and I who went out for dinner.
