Kimchi





Atchara is to Philippines : Kimchi is to Korea

This is a fermented dish made from cabbage (in the Philippines). It is usually served along with the numerous ban-chans when dining in a Korean restaurant. It is also readily available in local groceries here in the Philippines.

The one on the photo was from a cousin who happened to partonize a Korean resto somewhere in Cavite. Tastes very, very good- and spicy! Perfect for the cold weather.
