7-Eleven Introduces City Blends

7-Eleven, the country's leading convenience store recently launched its newest coffee brand- City Blends. This new coffee is specifically addressed to coffee-lovers as it is an honest-to-goodness coffee.

Each cup of City Blends is made from 100% freshly ground Arabica beans. Customers will enjoy watching the beans being grounded before their very eyes upon ordering this delicious brewed coffee. City Blends also has other flavors such as French Vanilla, Mochaccino, and Hershey's Dark Chocolate. Yummy!

As for the price, its so affordable that you'll want to have a cup or two and still have something extra to buy a sandwich. ;)

And to make the City Blends launch much more exciting, 7-Eleven is launching a special Valentine's promo. From February 11 to 24, 2015, City Blends customers will have the chance to express themselves honestly through the City Blends Honest Cups. Simply choose from the three limited edition 8oz Honest cups- Single, or It's Complicated. And to make it fun, you can add explanation as to why you chose that status.

Customers are encouraged to celebrate Valentine's with fresh, real coffee and express themselves whatever their current relationship status may be. They are also encouraged to share their personalized Honest Cups on social media using the hashtags #711CityBlends #Honestly #honesttogoodness

NEW RESTO ALERT: Hà Nội Phố (Ha Noi Pho)

Makati has been a go-to place for my family and I to grab a meal or sometimes just to have a cup of coffee. Though, really, it’s mostly just us visiting our favorite spots. Recently, my mom went out of town so it was just my dad and I who went out for dinner.

Salcedo Market x Legaspi Market Tour

We haven't visited the weekend markets for years so I was giddy with excitement because I was able to visit both Salcedo and Legaspi markets this month, thanks to our Dusit Thani Manila staycation . To differentiate the two, Salcedo market  is held every Saturday at the Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village Makati while Legaspi market is held every Sunday at the Corinthian Carpark in Legaspi Village Makati. Since we were coming from Dusit Thani Manila, it was quite a long walk but it was early in the morning (around 8AM) and even Ayala and Makati Avenues were still without cars. Wow!
