NEW RESTO ALERT: Crema

Just like its name, Crema is truly a delightful dessert place / coffeeshop in Marriott's Grand Ballroom. Everything there doesn't only look good (see photo below), but tastes delicious as well.

It has a very relaxing ambiance especially for those attending a conference or a seminar, and of course, a nice place to hang-out for those attending a party at Marriott's Grand Ballroom.

The pastries are reasonably priced, they also serve coffee, tea, and yogurt ice cream. Yey!

Tiramisu. One can never go wrong with tiramisu especially as beautiful and this. A visual feast that also makes the tummy happy.

Chocolate Almond Cookie. This yummy goodness is a steal at P60! No kidding. And it has really generous amount of almonds.

Chocolate Croissant. My daughter loves this so much and gave this a two thumbs up. She loves chocolate croissants and says that this is really, really good since it also has a whole chocolate inside.

Strawberry Cheesecake. Just look at that luscious strawberries. Very mouthwatering.

Cheesecake. One of the best cheesecake I've tasted. I am quite finicky when it comes to cheesecakes because I don't want to be disappointed. And guess what- this cheesecake really made me happy. Two thumbs up! Its not too sweet and the texture of the cream cheese filling is perfect- not soft and mushy. The assorted fruits on top gave it some added flavor- sweet and tart.

Yogurt Ice Cream. I super adore yogurt ice cream and all the more because I had mine with gummy bears while daughter had hers with chocolate crunch.

Boracay's Hidden Gem: Mama's Fish House

I've always wanted to dine at Mama's Fish House in Boracay but wasn't able to for some forgotten reasons already. Then the pandemic happened and we're in lockdown or limited travel movement for almost two years. And guess what? One of the nicest thing to happen on our recent trip to Boracay was to discover that Mama's Fish House was located just outside the beach front of our hotel- Microtel by Wyndham Boracay . Talk about serendipity!

Salcedo Market x Legaspi Market Tour

We haven't visited the weekend markets for years so I was giddy with excitement because I was able to visit both Salcedo and Legaspi markets this month, thanks to our Dusit Thani Manila staycation . To differentiate the two, Salcedo market  is held every Saturday at the Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village Makati while Legaspi market is held every Sunday at the Corinthian Carpark in Legaspi Village Makati. Since we were coming from Dusit Thani Manila, it was quite a long walk but it was early in the morning (around 8AM) and even Ayala and Makati Avenues were still without cars. Wow!
