Bonifacio High Street Summer Food Fest 2017

Bonifacio High Street, one of the Metro's premier spot when it comes to dining, shopping, and entertainment has launched a 2-day Summer Food Fest with Bite Me Manila along 9th Avenue. The food fest kick starts a whole array of weekly summer fun with BGC's On The Street campaign.

From 11am to 11pm on March 25-26, 2017, enjoy a gustatory experience at the BHS Summer Food Fest. Have your fill of burgers, pizzas, ice cream, ramen, cheeses, hotdogs, empanadas, wagyu cubes, candied bacon, and much, much more from homegrown, favorite food brands and food trucks.

There's a lot of food choices that will entice even the picky-eaters. Some of the mouthwatering food I saw are: grilled Wagyu cubes, ramen, bahn mi, cheese, ice cream, hotdogs, and even beers. There's really a lot of choices for everyone.

RECIPE: TKG's Pan-Grilled Maya-Maya With Calamansi Butter Sauce

I chanced upon some fresh-looking Maya-Maya being sold near my daughter's school today so I bought some. I don't really have a dish in mind when I bought it. Maybe fried, sinigang ... And upon checking the fridge and pantry (no more olive oil), I decided to marinate the fish in calamansi to remove the fishy taste. I pan-grilled the fish being careful not to burn it. Then I minced some garlic, cooked it in butter, added some salt and poured the sauce on top of the fish. And its ready to eat. And oh, I also steamed some cauliflower as a side-dish. Bon appetit!

PRODUCT REVIEW: XTREME HOME Coffee Machine XH-ESCM

Most of us (Filipinos) have discovered the passion to make a nice cup of coffee especially during the lockdown last year. Remember the Dalgona craze at the onset of the pandemic? From then on, coffee has become a part of our pandemic lifestyle, and this include having a coffee corner at home.

Bolzico Beef To Go via GrabFood

Since last year, when the Covid-19 pandemic took over the world and made everything stop, most people (me included) resorted to food delivery as it is safer than going to the restaurant, grocery, or market to buy food. One such favorite delivery app is GrabFood.
