What's Round and Baked Golden, and Has A Deliciously Cheese-y Filling?

If you answered cheese tart, then you guessed it right! This delicious cheese tart is freshly baked so there's a guarantee that you'll enjoy it fresh from the oven where the cheese filling is runny and yummy at the same time.

It goes by the name of BAKE Cheese Tart and has its origins from Hokkaido, Japan.

Of course, we all know how serious the Japanese are when it comes to food so there's an assurance that they used only the finest quality ingredients and that freshness is the key to great tasting food.

And it was love at first bite when BAKE Cheese Tart opened their branch at Podium Mall. That first bite was so memorable I felt bad for buying a single piece only. Haha, my daughter didn't know that I already tasted BAKE prior to the first box that I bought for her and hubby. We also saw BAKE when we traveled to Hong Kong early this year although we weren't able to buy because of the longish lines (no kidding). The ones in HK has chocolate and matcha flavors. I think they have ice cream, too if I'm not mistaken.

So anyway, hubby and daughter love the cheese tarts that I bought, as expected. They would have devoured the whole box (yeah, maybe they want to eat the box, too haha) had I not reminded hubby that the doctor advised him to cut down on his sweets.

BAKE Cheese Tart has its origins from Kinotoya, a 30-year old bakery in Japan. The cheese tart became famous for 4-types of cheese filling- three Hokkaido cheeses and one from France. So after mixing the cheeses, it is then cupped in a double baked crust, and baked until golden. The crust is sweetened just right and the cheese filling is smooth and creamy.

"The cheese tarts are made of a complex layer of flavors that requires almost artistic detail. BAKE Cheese Tart was born 30 years ago in a Kinotoya confectionary in Hokkaido and founder Shintaro Naganuma perfected the recipe. The result is a full-bodied but subtle cream cheese filling cupped in a double-baked crust. BAKE Cheese Tart can be enjoyed in four ways" freshly baked, warm, chilled, or frozen," says Larry Tan.

It's quite hard not to fall in-love with BAKE Cheese Tart. "We've come to observe that Filipinos are adventurous and hungry for global flavors. We believe that Filipinos will like our BAKE Cheese Tart and we want to share this gift with the Filipinos and the rest of the world. BAKE Cheese Tart uses the best ingredients from Hokkaido, and baked freshly in store. Therefore, whether you are having the cheese tart in Japan, Singapore, Korea, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and now in the Philippines," added Tyrone Ching.
