Glico Almond Koka X Auro Chocolate at Orinasu Cafe

Japan's popular Glico's Almost Koka and Auro Chocolate teams-up to create a special pop-up cafe called Orinasu Cafe located at Mitsukoshi BGC. 

Orinasu Cafe highlights Filipino and Japanese culture through its handcrafted drinks and treats with Glico Almond Koka and Auro Chocolate team-up. The pop-up cafe is from February 1-19, 2024. 


'Choc Au Lait' is Orinasu Cafe's limited-edition line of vegan-friendly drinks and treats. 

Miso Salted Caramel is a luscious white chocolate drink with Mruhide's top-quality Miso, Auro's Salted Caramel and Almond Koka, with white chocolate shavings. 

Then there's Hojicha, a creamy white chocolate creation infused with Ikeda Senchado's Hojicha, and Almond Koka. 

Ikeda Matcha is a white Chocolate Matcha hits the spot with its perfect balance of sweet and earthy. 

Of course, you will surely love Dark Choc. This is decadent Auro Dark Chocolate and Almond Koka. 

There's also the delightful Dark Chocolate Stuffed with Strawberries French Toast. This is a rich toast with dark chocolate filling, tart strawberry jam and Almond Koka. 

All these are available exclusively at Orinasu Cafe pop-up located in Mitsukoshi BGC from February 1-19, 2024.

Salcedo Market x Legaspi Market Tour

We haven't visited the weekend markets for years so I was giddy with excitement because I was able to visit both Salcedo and Legaspi markets this month, thanks to our Dusit Thani Manila staycation . To differentiate the two, Salcedo market  is held every Saturday at the Jaime Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village Makati while Legaspi market is held every Sunday at the Corinthian Carpark in Legaspi Village Makati. Since we were coming from Dusit Thani Manila, it was quite a long walk but it was early in the morning (around 8AM) and even Ayala and Makati Avenues were still without cars. Wow!
