Shawarma Snack Center
Its been ages since I last had a meal at the Shawarma Snack Center in Ermita so when we attended Pope Francis' mass in Luneta, we made a quick stop here.
NEW RESTO ALERT: Kebabers SM Manila
I'm a newbie when it comes to Kebabers but daughter reminded me that we've already seen this resto in Katipunan a couple of months back. Hmmm, so that's why the logo and name looks familiar- hehe.
So this time around, Kebabers and I finally met at SM Manila when I joined some friends on a foodtrip date. And you really can't miss this resto because of its colorful and upbeat signage which is just beside the cinema area.

FWGP Workshop and Q Kebab
Last Sunday after attending baby Mikael's Baptismal Lunch at Saisaki Greenbelt, I went to FWGP's workshop at 47 East Hub, E.Abada Street, Quezon City (at the back of McDonald's Katipunan).
Workshop was about how to write, send proposal letter to editors and get published. It was fun although I didn't get to meet and make friends with the other participants since I arrived a bit late. Its a tough decision between Iron Man 3 and the workshop. Daughter watched the movie with cousins after lunch while I (alone) went to the workshop via MRT/ LRT2. Fast commute but lonesome nonetheless.

Dinner At Manda Centrale
Oh what fun it is to eat! And bumped into friends at the Manda Centrale early this evening. Also, hubby, daughter and I had a blast checking-out the food stalls one-by-one.
Juana Bowl. Daughter can't remove her eyes from the steak as soon as she saw it. An order includes rice and a generous amount of gravy. The steak was very, very tender. Daughter gave me and hubby a few bites each. So takaw!
Dinner crowd. We arrived around 630pm and it was already crowded. Luckily, we were able to get a table at the back of the shawarma stall.
Gino's Brick Oven Pizza. I've been hearing a lot of good reviews about this pizza place so when I saw it at the Manda Centrale, I know I had to order it. Had two slices. Good! But I find it a bit salty. Not cheesy salty but salt-salty. I'm guessing its the herb-mix that the lady generously sprinkled before handing me my order. Highly recommended. I just have a low tolerance when it comes to salt. ;)
Carlo's Kitchen. Crispy Pork Belly. Very, very good! Addicting, too. I had this with rice and it was so, so good. EXCELLENT. Hubby complained though that he felt dizzy afterwards. I teased him that it is because he ate more than a fair share. Hahaha. Four thumbs up!
Flavored Iced Tea. Melon and Buko Pandan, I think. Not that memorable.
The cakes and cheese rolls looks so yummy but we were already bursting. There's always a next time. :)
Okay, I lied about the dessert part. This we can't resist! Had Bailey's gelato and daughter had the Salted Chocolate Cookie Dough.
Shawarma Fusion. I don't know what the fusion part is but this is good. Cheap meal also. And yes, we decided to eat again after the gelato. ;)
Lasagna. Hubby ordered this because (according to him) he missed my soupy(?) lasagna. Sadly, this doesn't taste lasagna-ish to us.
Moshi-Moshi's Takoyaki. Another excellent find. And super affordable also. Four delicious pieces costs only P40. Nom nom nom. I'm going back for this!

World Class Persian Kabab
Located in T.Morato cor E.Rodgriguez in Quezon City, this restaurant can get full especially during dinner time (haven't tried going there for lunch, that's why!). The interiors are painted red which complements the dark wood table and dim lights. Think mysterious! You can also order shisha here.
Shawarma Rice. This plate is for the ravenous! Simply add yogurt dressing and spicy dressing and voila--- a meal with a zing! Costs less than a hundred. Friendly on the pocket.
Creamy Yogurt Shake. Sweetened just right to adapt to Filipino palate. I've tasted sour yogurt shake and its definitely a no-no. Never mind if its healthy. But the one they serve here, good!!! And did I mention it's just P30? That's not even $1.
This is the Shawarma Plate. It's basically an unrolled and unwrapped shawarma. The nice part here is for those who hates onions (not me) and tomatoes or maybe the cucumbers. Just pour the yogurt dressing, mix and you're ready to roll! I mean, bite ;) And very, very affordable also, only P55! That's a dollar and a few cents.

The resto also serves ox brain. Haven't tried this one yet. Overall rating is two thumbs up for the food but that for the bad waitress experience.
