The Nordic Dining Experience

Vikings. I love the name of this buffet restaurant because it reminds me of Odin, Thor and Loki. I also remember falling in love with the movie- The 13th Warrior.

But this Viking(s) is different. It is actually a buffet restaurant located near the vicinity of Mall of Asia. A Viking's helmet greets the diners upon entering the door.

Lots of food choices- from pasta, seafood, japanese, chinese, continental, there's also a carving station, dessert bar among others. The last photo was two scoops of yogurt ice-cream. Chocolate and avocado. Truly memorable! You'll crave for it once you've tasted it. Wish they have a desserts only buffet :D

Bolzico Beef To Go via GrabFood

RECIPE: TKG's Pan-Grilled Maya-Maya With Calamansi Butter Sauce

I chanced upon some fresh-looking Maya-Maya being sold near my daughter's school today so I bought some. I don't really have a dish in mind when I bought it. Maybe fried, sinigang ... And upon checking the fridge and pantry (no more olive oil), I decided to marinate the fish in calamansi to remove the fishy taste. I pan-grilled the fish being careful not to burn it. Then I minced some garlic, cooked it in butter, added some salt and poured the sauce on top of the fish. And its ready to eat. And oh, I also steamed some cauliflower as a side-dish. Bon appetit!
