Black Canyon Coffee at Tuscany, McKinley Hills

Coffee drinkers have now another reason to celebrate because Black Canyon Coffee opened its second branch here in the Philippines. Located at The Tuscany, McKinley Hills in Taguig City, this two-storey coffeeshop is a nice place not just to drink coffee but to dine and hangout here as well. The second floor area which can seat about 20 pax comfortably are also great for meetings and brainstorming, and even small parties.

The event was graced by Mr. Pravit Chitnarapong (at the right), founder and CEO of Black Canyon Thailand Co., Ltd. "Black Canyon Coffee is of the highest quality with the best aroma and taste made from 100% fresh Arabica beans most of which are grown in the farms of the Royal Kingdom of Thailand."

"Coincidentally, "the Black Canyon Tuscany, McKinley Hills is the 50th overseas outlet of Black Canyon Thailand Co., Ltd."  according to Mr. Chitnarapong. So that means, this is the Golden Branch. Congratulations!

The force behind Black Canyon Coffee in the Philippines- Mr. William Zapata and Mr. James Dy (from left to right). Mr. Zapata mentioned that "he likes the taste of Black Canyon Coffee because its different from the other brews. It has a richer taste," according to him.

Bloggers and Mediamen watching the Black Canyon Coffee presentation in which the history of coffee and the popularity of different varieties of coffee are explained.

Popular drinks during the launch are the cold concoctions. Maybe because of the sweltering mid-morning sun and the SRO crowd that attended the launching. As they say- its a full house!

Some of the dishes during at the launch are Ceasar Salad, Sesame-crusted Fish, and Chicken with Cashew Nuts.

The popular Thai Iced Tea. You can never go wrong with this drink.

Pad Thai. I love this dish. And the shrimp. Great if paired with the Thai Iced Tea. Hmmm, I wonder if they'll share the recipe with me-- wish wish wish. ;)

Friendly baristas. They are also well-versed in the food and drinks so you can ask them first so that you'll be able to order the right drink for you. Highly commendable since the coffeeshop just openen. Thumbs up! Also, the smiling baristas adds a touch of warmth and cheer to the coffeeshop.

Some of the drinks and food choices. Note-to-self: Must visit soon and try the green tea drinks and Thai dishes. Just thinking about it makes me hungry! Cakes and other sweet goodies are also available at Black Canyon Coffee.

Caramel Cream Frap. I love the taste of caramel so this drink is heaven for me. This drink is so good especially if you have a sweet tooth like me. It is also cream based so definitely a winner for kids. And I'd also like to thank Black Canyon Coffee for the early birthday treat- the green tumbler behind the drink. Yey! :)
