Carnivale Night Food Market at Venice Piazza

Foodies in the McKinley Hill area are in for a treat as Carnivale, the night food market by Mercato Centrale group opens its doors last December 12, 2013 at The Venice Piazza Mall. It is open every Thursday and Friday from 6pm-3am. The food event was also graced by Consul Fortune Ledesma, RJ and Vanessa Ledesma, Rachelle and Anton Diaz, and Megaworld Executives.

Of course, the real highlight of Carnivale are the numerous food stalls that can make your life difficult. I mean, each food stall offers an array of delicious food so choosing which one to go to can test your limit especially if you are on a diet. But then, its best to reschedule your diet. ;)

Mouthwatering bagnet. Bagnet is deep fried marinated pork belly. Yum yum.

Pasta favorites.

Tiny tacos called Taclings.

Takoyakis!!! I was so happy when I saw the Tamayaki stall. Read my blog post about them here and here. Also, daughter and I just ate at their latest branch in Landmark Makati two weeks ago.

Streetfood! I had the quail eggs (can't resist quail eggs) and the "isaw" or chicken intestines. I've tried the streetfood in Hong Kong but even if I find it good, I still prefer ours. Read about my Great Hong Kong Food Adventure.

Dynamites !!!

Cakes by K. Yummy red velvet. They also have Lengua de Gatteau.

There are also jugglers and monocycle rider to amuse the diners.

There's also a man on stilts!

Spotted: A furry four-legged foodie at Carnivale.

Venice Piazza is located inside McKinley Hill in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. McKinley Hill is bounded by C5 to the East, the American War Memorial to the North, Lawton Road to the West and the Philippine Army HQ to the South.
