Chef Jessie Sincioco, who's at the helm of the famous Chef Jessie Group of Restaurants creates a memorable romantic sit down dinner for you and your sweetheart to indulge this Valentine. Allow yourselves to be pampered and feast on delectable dishes by Chef Jessie.



Begin the meal with Organic Garden Salad in Passion Fruit Vinaigrette Dressing followed by Baked Cape Cod Jumbo Scallops in Miso Sauce. Heat up passion with Cream of Roast Red Capsicum Soup with Cheese Crostini then move on to Pan Fried Sea Bass with Goose Liver in White Tomato Jus and Raspberry-Honey Sauce. A spoonful or two of Strawberry Sorbet enhanced with Champagne is a great pair for your intimate conversation with your sweetheart while waiting for the main course. Savor Grilled U.S. Black Angus Tenderloin Steak in Truffle Sauce and Grilled Tiger Prawns in Garlic Hollandaise served with a Timbale of Wild Rice Vegetable Risotto and Sauteed French Beans. Ilustrado Restaurant Anniversary Degustation

Fat Fook Manila

Fat Fook Manila, the restaurant that's been making foodies excited with its Taiwanese noms opened its latest branch at The Globe Tower in BGC. The restaurant which has a seating capacity of about 40, also has a dedicated take-out counter should you have cravings for yummy Taiwanese snacks.

There's a lot of interesting noms from the menu but here are my favorites:

Taiwanese Sausage on sticks. I've been hearing about this amazing sausages from my friends who has been to Taiwan and its on the must-try list. And thanks to Fat Fook Manila, I don't have to fly to Taiwan to enjoy these sausages. It tastes sweet but the meat is firm and not as oily as our local sausage (longganisa). The garlic inserted on the sausages looks weird but it adds some flavor to it. I'm guessing that this sausages are best paired with a bottle of beer. ;)


Dine at Royal Saigon

Royal Saigon Restaurant is one of the most popular tourist choice in Ho Chi Minh City. Maybe it is also because it is located at Bui Vien, which is the tourist hub in HCMC. And it was actually my friend who wanted to eat at Royal Saigon, I just happily tagged along.
