NEW RESTO ALERT: Juanh Mi Greenhills

Hubby and I had an unplanned lunch date in Greenhills and since we were in Theatre Mall, he suggested that we try the new resto- Juanh Mi.

I love Vietnamese food so I was a bit hesitant since this resto is not really an authentic Vietnamese restaurant but a fusion of Filipino-Vietnamese cuisine. But since this is one of those rare instances that hubby suggests a restaurant, I'm just happy to tag along.


Lenten Specials at Max's Group of Restaurants

In observance of the Lenten Season, Max's Group of Restaurants created a special seafood menu that's is both delicious and nutritious.

Pan Seared Fish Fillet at Pancake House comes with a tangy tomato salsa, brown pilaf rice, and a side salad. This is a classic favorite that is also a light and healthy meal.

Michelin Star are usually given to restaurants and chefs for their exemplary contribution to the food industry and being awarded with a "star" can have a dramatic effect on the awardee. What began as a motorist guide (yes, Michelin is the tire) in France, spread to its neighboring countries about a century ago, and is now a worldwide food (restaurant and chef) guide.

And the Michelin fever has reached the banks of Hong Kong a few years back and it has come up with a streetfood guide, can you believe that? From dumplings, noodles, to waffles, more than several streetfood stalls were awarded that much coveted Michelin star.


NEW RESTO ALERT: Elements Hall @ Rallos

The food scene in Quezon City is getting more and more exciting as each district tries to outdo one another by offering mouthwatering choices. With this, I'd like to introduce you to Elements Hall which was formally launched recently.

Elements Hall @ Rallos is a two-storey food establishment that houses 11 different stalls and restaurants that offers a variety of dishes. 18 Days Coffee Roaster, Clucky's, Gelato Lab, Bibi-Waf, Mang Max, Red Pineapple Restaurant, Don't Tell, Twa Pak To, Nina's Sweet Delicacies, Cold Beer, and Mantaro.
