TSUJIRI has always been our favorite go-to place whenever we crave for Japanese blended drinks or lattes. But aside from those wonderful drinks, Tsujiri also serve traditional Japanese desserts, cakes, cookies, sundaes, and limited runs of sandwiches.
Our usual orders would be the Houjicha Ice Blend and the Chocolate Ice Blend. But really, most of the drinks on the menu are a must-try. And they also have my fave Yuzu!
Here's my current favorite dessert from Tsujiri- Shiratama Azuki. These are mochi balls on a bed of sweet azuki or red beans.
The azuki are already sweet but there's no harm in adding the traditional brown sugar syrup that uplifts the saccharine experience.
I've learned to appreciate this dessert during my last trip to Japan before the pandemic in year 2020. The hotel I stayed in have several stores nearby that sells this dessert.
Aside from the cold drinks at Tsujiri, you can also have it hot if you prefer it that way.
Tsujiri opened its first branch in S Maison Conrad which was quite far from our place so it was a treat to visit that mall. Luckily, they opened branches in Makati so yey!
