RECIPE: Miso Ramen by Chef Seiji Kamura

There's been a ramen-war in the metropolis lately but for those who want to recreate a ramen inside their own kitchen, Chef Seiji Kamura and The Maya Kitchen graciously shares this recipe.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp oil                                         40 grams ground pork
120 grams ramen noodle                  50 grams baguio pechay
20 grams carrots, shredded              30 grams onions, sliced
20 grams leeks, sliced                      80 grams, togue
1/2 tbsp sesame oil                           200 ml ramen soup stock
35 grams miso base

Chef Seiji Kamura in Action at The Maya Kitchen

Last Saturday, I attended the Ramen Craze Plus by Chef Seiji Kamura at The Maya Kitchen in Makati. It was my first time to attend a cooking class at the famous Maya Kitchen and I was super excited since Chef Seiji will teach us the secrets of oishi ramen!

On February 15, 2014, witness Chef Seiji Kamura as he share his trade secrets about ramen and other popular Japanese dishes such as hiyashi chuka and tonkatsu at The Maya Kitchen.

He will also conduct the advance cooking workshops in Japanese cuisine scheduled for February 12, 13, and 14 (Wednesday to Friday) from 10am to 2pm which will include appetizers of Sushi, Sashimi and Gyoza; fried dishes of Tempura, Nabe cooking or Hot pot cooking and Japanese cold desserts of homemade ice cream and others.
