I've noticed a new pizza place along N.Domingo in San Juan a few months back but I didn't realize how good the pizza tasted until OpenricePH invited me and some openricers to join the fun last Wednesday night.
Wild Wild Mushroom Pizza. This is the best! I love the taste of the different mushrooms plus the fact that the crust is freshly made. It would've been nicer if they used mozzarella cheese but then, the price would be higher. As it is, a 12-inch costs P170 only. Imagine that.

Romantic Buon Giorno
This restaurant is one of the best-kept secrets in Tagaytay. Ambiance (especially during night-time) are perfect for lovers who wants to dine al fresco. Include some candles and the right music and be ready to propose or be proposed to. Great for intimate family dinners also.

Sage Tea. This is one of my weirdest food order. I thought sage tea means, sage in tea-bags, not fresh sage leaves in a teapot. Hahaha. There's the distinctive taste of sage and I can't say that its love at first sip. But after several sips, it tasted better- not that herb(al)!

Salmon Risotto. Love! The risotto was very flavorful. No explanation needed. Good for 2 pax.

Jack Dory. Pan-fried dory with sauce and stir-fried veggies. Big portion of dory. Good for 2 pax. This dish is okay but a bit salty.
Food budget per pax is around 600-800. Restaurant located at the Fire Lake Area, just after Army/Navy and Yellow Cab in Tagaytay. We're definitely coming back!

Dutch Dinner At Italianni's
Dinner date with my Aunt W and Dutch uncle, and Aunt B and cousins- L and L, and daughter at Italianni's in Greenbelt. I love family dinners!
Pomodoro. Comfort food at its best! Daughter and I shared this while waiting for her fish. I'm on a diet-mode tonight because I'm looking forward to dessert! :D

Massimo's
This restaurant is a haven for Italian cuisine-lovers. They also serve Angus and Wagyu Steak, and Alaskan King Crab. For starters, we were given focaccia bread with artichoke dip (bestseller). Then we moved on to pasta, fish and meat. We washed everything down with fresh dalandan juice and iced-tea. Afterwards, the temptation of peach shortcake, panacotta and gelato followed.
The restaurant, named after the owner and Chef Hazel's son nestled in the highlands of Tagaytay. A few meters after Petron station, you'll see the sign leading to Massimo's. The red homey-looking house will make you wonder if you are in the right place, but upon seeing a jade-green rabbit at the foot of the stairs, this is it. The interiors are not your usual resto-setting. It's more laidback, relaxed and just right for the cool Tagaytay breeze where one can dine without being hurried. Night patrons will find romance in the candlelit ambiance of the place that also includes a quaint chandelier.
Massimo's also serve wine, pizza, salad and soup. Gelatos are available in chocolate, vanilla, coffee flavors.
