Saturdate At La Creperie And Serenitea; A Mom's Day Prelude

We were supposed to have a pre-Mom's Day dinner at MU Noodle Bar but all tables were already reserved when we arrived (I should've called in advance). The only available table was the bar table but the lamp was just too close and it felt hot sitting there. It's like we are being slowly-roasted. Di bale, will come back soon. After all, its just a few minutes away from our place.

Hubby suggested Alex III but I want to eat noodles. Kanzhu Hand Pulled Noodle Resto was also full- it was already past 7pm. So we ended up at La Creperie which is a family favorite. Think delicious crepes.

I love this table near the window. Pang-date! But we didn't sit there because the table was too small.

Breakfast Date At Banapple

I love unplanned outings because the tummy gets creative with the food choices.

Baked Fish. Delicious. Good for two if you are on a diet! ;)

Beef Tapa. The beef was tender and flavorful.

Bannofee Pie. Its good. I think I can finish a whole box. Yikes!

Dutch Dinner At Italianni's

Dinner date with my Aunt W and Dutch uncle, and Aunt B and cousins- L and L, and daughter at Italianni's in Greenbelt. I love family dinners!

Pomodoro. Comfort food at its best! Daughter and I shared this while waiting for her fish. I'm on a diet-mode tonight because I'm looking forward to dessert! :D

Kulinarya

This resto is one of the few that I like to frequent especially if we happen to be in Powerplant Mall. Food here is L O V E.

Baked Fish

A Simple and Healthy Meal

Sometimes I get bored with cooking rice and ulam so I make use of whatever it is that's in the fridge and cook it for lunch or dinner. And since daughetr loves fish (according to her, it is because her Zodiac sign is Pisces), we always have some on the freezer.

I've been hearing good reviews about this resto that serves baked Parmesan Crusted Fish but haven't tasted it yet. Then I was able to taste the pan-fried Parmesan Fish of Conti's but I know that baked fish are much healthier than fried fish.

With that in mind, I asked daughter to grate some cheddar cheese while I marinated the fish with kalamansi, butter and some spices. Then its off to the oven for about 20 minutes. I paired the fish with some lettuce, grapes and apple salad with mixed-berry yogurt as dressing.
