Grill-All-You-Can At Tajimaya

This restaurant is a haven for grilled-food lovers. Buffet per pax costs P600 which includes salad, unlimited rice and bottomless iced-tea. Clean plate is a must also, so it's best to order what you can just eat only and then order again if you still think your belly can accommodate the yummy food. It will cost you between P100- 200 for leftovers. On the other hand, I think paying for leftovers is a nice way to instill in us not to waste food. Two thumbs up to Tajimaya for this clean-plate policy! :)

The beef strips are the best, shrimp comes second. The rest are just ok. The pork strips- nevermind. Go for the beef! No need to order the sausages and squidballs. Concentrate on the beef and shrimps and chicken. Hmmmm ... not sure if they serve fish since we weren't offered any when we dined there.

Located at Mall of Asia, the restaurant has a nice view of Manila Bay. Best time to go there around 5pm just in time to watch the sunset. There are only two tables that has the best view of Manila Bay, so be early. Otherwise, be prepared to grab other tables because from what I heard, the waiting line can be longish on certain days and time.

Takoyaki

Lovers of streetfood such as fishball and squidball will surely fall in love with "takoyaki," its Japanese counterpart. However, to be able to really enjoy takoyaki, one must eat it in Japan or Bubble Tea (my nephew swears this is next to authentic). I, or we (that includes hubby and daughter) loves Kozui's takoyaki.

J.Co Donuts

We're not really fond of donuts at home but once in a while, we indulge ourselves with these "holey" delights.

J.Co Donuts is the latest craziness when it comes to donuts. I guess its the melt-in-your-mouth goodness that attracts people to be donut-crazy like us (with daughter). Imagine going all the way to Mall of Asia just have our first bite of these donuts and donut panic-buying at Megamall. Crazy, right?

Luckily, these donuts are not that sweet so it's less sinful than Krispy Kreme.

My personal fave --- Alcapone
Hubby's choice --- Choco Caviar
Daughter's pick --- Oreology
Pepper Lunch

I love eating at Pepper Lunch because the food here is served on a hot plate and my tummy likes warm food. On the other hand, there's a 100% chance that you'll smell like food after dining here so its best to spritz some cologne or perfume after eating.

Seafood. This is hubby's choice.

Beef. Mine, all mine!

Swensen's Ice Cream

C have been raving about this ice-cream place at SM Mall of Asia for ages now and daughter and I got to taste it today for the first time.

I love food that is artistically presented. I remember what my mother used to say- when you cook, make sure that there's a blend of colors because a nice looking dish even if it doesn't taste that good WILL TASTE GOOD. But in this case, it is nicely presented AND IT REALLY TASTE GOOD!

Alas, even if I want to eat here often it is not possible because Mall of Asia is way too far from our house and it is the only branch (I think) in the Metropolis.
Romantic Buon Giorno

This restaurant is one of the best-kept secrets in Tagaytay. Ambiance (especially during night-time) are perfect for lovers who wants to dine al fresco. Include some candles and the right music and be ready to propose or be proposed to. Great for intimate family dinners also.

Sage Tea. This is one of my weirdest food order. I thought sage tea means, sage in tea-bags, not fresh sage leaves in a teapot. Hahaha. There's the distinctive taste of sage and I can't say that its love at first sip. But after several sips, it tasted better- not that herb(al)!

Salmon Risotto. Love! The risotto was very flavorful. No explanation needed. Good for 2 pax.

Jack Dory. Pan-fried dory with sauce and stir-fried veggies. Big portion of dory. Good for 2 pax. This dish is okay but a bit salty.

Food budget per pax is around 600-800. Restaurant located at the Fire Lake Area, just after Army/Navy and Yellow Cab in Tagaytay. We're definitely coming back!
Chubby Shack

We happen to pass by Nuvali a few weeks ago and was curious with the long line waiting outside Chubby Shack. So we made a mental note to dine there soon. And that's today.

Sliders. This is good but not that good that you won't forget about it. But I'd recommend this though.

Buffalo Wings. Now this is memorable. Not that spicy but with just the right ZING! I can eat this every day except that I'm allergic to chicken.

Quesadilla. Okay. Not bad.

Luckily, there are still tons on the menu that sounds appetizing so it is possible that we'll be eating there again. Burp!

Cheese Puffs

One day, daughter and I decided to play baker and we made cheese puffs. Had fun with the flour- think playdough! And lucky us because it turned out good and CHEESY! ;)

Trinity Restaurant At Dampa Macapagal

This is the default restaurant of hubby's family whenever there's a get-together. We have so many family lunch or dinner here- no kidding.
