On a recent trip to Pasay, I bought some interesting curry paste from Darumaya. I was supposed to get a nice box with nicely written Japanese characters but was told by the sales clerk that its too spicy so I got the kiddie version, the one with the anime characters. Also, daughter loves curry!
This is so easy to make. Boil the lamb (or preferred meat) until tender. Add cube potatoes and carrots and bay leaf. Pour in the paste and add just the right amount of water or broth. Yum!
