Another Day in Paradise Dynasty

Paradise Dynasty has been a family favorite since it opened its doors at S Maison Conrad in Pasay City. Although the location is far from us, the restaurant was always the first one that comes to mind when we go malling in the area. Now, it has opened branches in Podium Mall and SM Aura Premiere.

Max's Beef Salpicao and Adobo Ribs

Max's, one of the country's beloved restaurant doesn't just serve that "sarap" to the bones fried chicken but has a whole range of yummy Pinoy favorites on the menu such as kare-kare, sinigang na hipon, sizzling tofu, and others. But of course, every one is always excited when there's something new on the menu and Max's has two new dishes- Adobo Ribs and Beef Salpicao.

Chicken and Mocktails at Nandos

On my last night in SG, I decided to splurge a bit on my dinner and dine at Nandos. The first time I heard of Nandos was through my daughter who kept on raving about it when she dined with her cousins in Chicago. The restaurant has many branches all over the world and specializes in Portugese-style chicken dishes and is famous for their peri-peri sauce which you can also buy separately.

Breakfast at Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Orchard Central

After doing some errands at Orchard Road, I found myself hungry but can't really decide on what to eat until I saw people going-in and going-out at Ya Kun Kaya Toast in Orchard Central. This was my second time to eat in a kopitiam in Singapore and Ya Kun Kaya Toast is a familiar name.

The Kitchen Goddess at Pavilion KL's Food Republic

Food Republic is a very nice food hall (foodcourt) located in Pavilion Mall in Kuala Lumpur. Lots of different food choices here from local dishes to Italian, Japanese, etc. But of course, when one visits Kuala Lumpur, one has to savor the local dishes.
