TKGEats at Ki's Roasted Goose Restaurant in Causeway Bay

Gong Xi Fa Cai !!!

Posting my memorable experience at Ki's Roasted Goose Restaurant just in case you're planning to do a Hong Kong eats trip. ;)

First time to dine at Ki's Roasted Goose was last November 2024 when hubby and I got invited to join a friend's family for dinner. I think they ordered the set meal but I only zeroed-in on the goose!

It was both succulent and crispy (skin) upon first bite. No need for hoisin or ginger sauce imho and it pairs well with the steamed Kai-lan or Chinese kale. It doesn't even have that funny or gamey taste. Skip the rice if you can and concentrate on the meat, no kidding.

As for the chicken, I just had one piece and went back to eating the goose. Oooopsie!

So I went back to Ki's Roasted Goose in Causeway Bay this month (January 2025) and I was thinking of ordering goose but decided to try the char siu pork and no regrets! I ordered take-out meal and it comes with fried egg and steamed Kai-lan plus rice.

The char siu tastes delish and not fatty. Tender to bite and savory. Meal portion is good for sharing, I can't even finish it especially the generous serving of rice. Sadly, I forgot to get an extra order of Kai-lan or milk tea.

Btw, there are several branches of Ki's in Hong Kong and you won't miss the long lines especially during peak hours because it is also favored by locals.

Making mental note to dine at Ki's Roasted Goose again, soon! ;)
