NEW RESTO ALERT: Chaplin

UPDATE: Resto is already closed.

Chaplin is one of the newest restos in Century City Mall. From the outside, it looks just like the usual coffeeshop but I didn't realize that Chaplin restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner aside from snack, coffee and other drinks.

Chef Marc Aubrey Shares His Recipes at The Maya Kitchen

Chef Marc Aubrey of Champetre Restaurant shares his beloved French Provincial Cuisine at The Maya Kitchen's cooking demo.

He prepared Chicken Liver and Cognac Parfait, Mediterranean Fish Soup, Seared Lamb Loin Filled with Mini Vegetable Ratatouille served with Potato Rosette & Rosemary Lamb Jus, and Buttered Dark Chocolate and Espresso Coffee Mousse with Biscuits and Whipped Cream.

Let In The Goodness with Arla Cheesy Spread

Almost every one I know loves cheese. Who doesn't?

From breakfast, snacks, or that favorite pasta dish that we pile up with cheese, kids and adults definitely love cheese. We buy them at the grocery, or the sari-sari store. Yes, that's how popular the cheese is.

Sunday Lunch Buffet at Mario's

Sundays are best spent with the family and what better way to bond that dine out together. Every Sunday, Mario's offers a sumptuous spread of lunch buffet.

Have your fill of cochinillo (yum!), roasted turkey, roast beef, roast leg of lamb, baked oysters, broiled salmon, and a whole lot more.

Bonding Moment with Dad at Mister Donut's newest TVC

Mister Donut has been around for such a long time that it really brings back happy childhood memories such as when my parents brought me some donuts as pasalubong. Then there's that memorable box of Mister Donut from my ex-bf (now hubby).

Real-life father and son tandem on-screen creates a familial nostalgia.
It’s been a long time since Mister Donut centered on very familial moments using real people in their ad campaign, and their newest TVC did just that.  Watching it creates a warm invitation to bond with the ones we are closest to and most familiar with.

Saturdate at Mario's Restaurant

I love unplanned "food" dates with my daughter. Actually, we were just supposed to get hubby's surprise birthday cake from Mario's but decided to have dinner there also.

This is hubby's birthday cake from Mario's- Toffee Sans Rival.

NEW RESTO ALERT: Megawatt Burgers, Pizza and Pasta

The restaurant's name itself is kinda intriguing but having pizza, burgers, pasta, and burrito on its menu means go-go-go. Wow! All of my favorite food in one place. Yum!

So here's what we ate: mozzarella tots (thumbs up!), chicken pops, fries, and onion rings. I love the garlic dip. And pizza! This pizza is kinds interesting though because it is topped with salted eggs, bangus sisig, tomatoes and onions. It's called Viva Fiesta. It's like eating pizza and breakfast at the same time. Then there's that huge burrito- its called Pork Kimchi. Very filling and best shared. I couldn't possibly finish that order myself. And what's a party without some nachos, right?
