Ordering Pizza at Pizza Hut Online is Easy as 1-2-3

Pizza Hut, the country's beloved pizza haven makes ordering online such a breeze that you can even do it while doing something else.

"We have always been known as the pioneer and expert in food delivery in the Philippines, and this is borne out of our commitment to bring the freshest and hottest Pizza Hut pizza and signature dishes as fast as possible to our customers," shares Pizza Hut Philippines Marketing Head Lorent Adrias. "But technology and our fast-paced lifestyles are changing the way diners now perceive convenience when it comes to ordering our food, and so we thought to introduce a better, more interactive website which takes ordering food online to a new level."

NEW RESTO ALERT: Megawatt Burgers, Pizza and Pasta

The restaurant's name itself is kinda intriguing but having pizza, burgers, pasta, and burrito on its menu means go-go-go. Wow! All of my favorite food in one place. Yum!

So here's what we ate: mozzarella tots (thumbs up!), chicken pops, fries, and onion rings. I love the garlic dip. And pizza! This pizza is kinds interesting though because it is topped with salted eggs, bangus sisig, tomatoes and onions. It's called Viva Fiesta. It's like eating pizza and breakfast at the same time. Then there's that huge burrito- its called Pork Kimchi. Very filling and best shared. I couldn't possibly finish that order myself. And what's a party without some nachos, right?

Baguio Food Tour 2015: Grumpy Joe

This is a yummy pizza discovery introduced to us by Vincent of LakbayBaguio.com

Revisiting Giovanni's Bar & Ristorante

Had it not been for Araneta Center's invitation, I wouldn't have discovered this gem of Italian Restaurant in Cubao. I mean, I do not pass by the area where the restaurant is located so there's really a slim chance that I'll see it. Luckily, I got to attend Giovanni's opening last year.

Alchemy Resto- Bar

Tucked in the bustling Burgos District of Makati, Alchemy weaves its magic to both locals and foreigner food and drink enthusiasts.

NEW RESTO ALERT: Giovanni's Bar & Ristorante

The Araneta Cubao area is fast becoming competitive when it comes to food choices so its no wonder that an authentic (yes, authentic) Italian bistro opened up recently at the Manhattan Parkway, the new condo right after the LRT station.

Giovanni's Bar & Ristorante is owned by Signore Giovanni who is married to a lovely Filipina. This is their newest baby.

NEW RESTO ALERT: Mad For Pizza

The concept at Mad For Pizza is quite interesting --- your creativity will be challenge while you try to create what's the best pizza for you (dough, sauce, toppings).

Barely 3 months old, this pizza place is getting a lot of mileage already from foodies of all ages.

My CPK Story

Years ago, California Pizza Kitchen Shangri-La Plaza (CPK) used to be at the second level of the mall and it has the best location (imho), complete with a separate entrance just in case one happens to crave pizza after 9pm. Most notable was the "bridge" going to the restaurant itself. CPK was not really a part of the original mall layout but was just built later on. I also remember that one can really see the cars passing by if you happen to get a table beside the window. Oh, this was really years and years ago.

My family and friends also spent many numerous meals there (sadly, I don't own a digicam that time) including celebratory moments and special occasions. Then it was daughter's turn at CPK during her toddler and nursery years. Her school happens to be inside the mall so we really get to dine there a lot (she loves pizza, I wonder why?) and even attended some birthday parties there as well as her school's Create-Your-Own-Pizza Day wherein the kids get to don toques and played with pizza toppings.

There was also a time when daughter and I had a playdate with a friend and her two kids plus her tweener. I don't know what went wrong with the kids that day but they all got cranky and cried, including the tweener. We were really surprised (and amused). It was really memorable, the kids are all quite grown up now and I wonder if they still remember that incident. The tweener, by the way, is a popular heartthrob now. ;)

Looking back, I've always treasured those CPK memories and it always brings a smile whenever I think about those times. Hoping to create new ones again. So, what's your CPK story? :)

Spinach Artichoke Dip. This one's my fave except that I prefer it with more artichoke like it used to be years ago. Nonetheless, the colored tortilla chips is still the best!

CONTEST ALERT: CPK's My Pizza Story

California Pizza Kitchen or CPK as it is popularly known is launching a storytelling campaign that will begin on February 24, 2014 (mark your calendars now) and is inviting pizza lovers to share precious moments with you and your CPK pizza. It can be a selfie, a group with family or friends- be creative and get a free treat from CPK.

Chef Arnold's Incredible Pizza

I've noticed a new pizza place along N.Domingo in San Juan a few months back but I didn't realize how good the pizza tasted until OpenricePH invited me and some openricers to join the fun last Wednesday night.

Wild Wild Mushroom Pizza. This is the best! I love the taste of the different mushrooms plus the fact that the crust is freshly made. It would've been nicer if they used mozzarella cheese but then, the price would be higher. As it is, a 12-inch costs P170 only. Imagine that.

Benito's Kitchen

Last Saturday, I attended a SEO Seminar and venue was in Benito's Kitchen along Katipunan near White Plains. It's my first time at this pizza place and I'm a bit curious too since there's not much oven-baked pizza around town. And I think that over-baked is healthier that the usual greasy pizza. ;)

Pizza Ala Coron. I love the thin crust and the toppings.

Spicy Chicken Wings.

Nachos. Its okay.

Carbonara. Yum! Except that I find it too pale. Maybe some parsley garnish next time?

A Foodie's Secret Weapon

Breath spray and mouthwash! Hahaha. Kidding aside, oral hygiene is a must for everyone but most especially to foodies since we don't always have the luxury of brushing our teeth after eating in a restaurant. Imagine that you've been eating a lot of pizza, pesto, aioli, chicken curry, shawarma, even isaw (chicken instestines) and other food. Can you just imagine the burst of flavors on your breath if you did not brush your teeth?

Well, thanks to Unilab for this lipstick-sized breath spray that you can easily place inside your purse or pocket. Your breath stays fresh after a spray or two of this arctic chill flavored Swish breath spray.

National Pizza Day

Much awaited pizza event at CPK is back. Time to mark your calendar! ;)

Sundate At Tama Yaki

Daughter and I love takoyaki and we haven't had one for quite some time now. Luckily, there's this relatively new place along P. Guevara in San Juan. I'd like to think P. Guevara as the newest food area in town, and its  just nearby.

12-Day Freedom Project by Galileo Enoteca

On June 12, The Philippines will celebrate its Independence Day. And because it is a Special Day, Galileo Enoteca Deli makes it more special for us- diners, by offering The Freedom Project from June 1- 12.

Dinner At Manda Centrale

Oh what fun it is to eat! And bumped into friends at the Manda Centrale early this evening. Also, hubby, daughter and I had a blast checking-out the food stalls one-by-one.

Juana Bowl. Daughter can't remove her eyes from the steak as soon as she saw it. An order includes rice and a generous amount of gravy. The steak was very, very tender. Daughter gave me and hubby a few bites each. So takaw!

Dinner crowd. We arrived around 630pm and it was already crowded. Luckily, we were able to get a table at the back of the shawarma stall.

Gino's Brick Oven Pizza. I've been hearing a lot of good reviews about this pizza place so when I saw it at the Manda Centrale, I know I had to order it. Had two slices. Good! But I find it a bit salty. Not cheesy salty but salt-salty. I'm guessing its the herb-mix that the lady generously sprinkled before handing me my order. Highly recommended. I just have a low tolerance when it comes to salt. ;)

Carlo's Kitchen. Crispy Pork Belly. Very, very good! Addicting, too. I had this with rice and it was so, so good. EXCELLENT. Hubby complained though that he felt dizzy afterwards. I teased him that it is because he ate more than a fair share. Hahaha. Four thumbs up!

Flavored Iced Tea. Melon and Buko Pandan, I think. Not that memorable.

The cakes and cheese rolls looks so yummy but we were already bursting. There's always a next time. :)

Okay, I lied about the dessert part. This we can't resist! Had Bailey's gelato and daughter had the Salted Chocolate Cookie Dough.

Shawarma Fusion. I don't know what the fusion part is but this is good. Cheap meal also. And yes, we decided to eat again after the gelato. ;)

Lasagna. Hubby ordered this because (according to him) he missed my soupy(?) lasagna. Sadly, this doesn't taste lasagna-ish to us.

Moshi-Moshi's Takoyaki. Another excellent find. And super affordable also. Four delicious pieces costs only P40. Nom nom nom. I'm going back for this!

Something Old ...

These are old, old photos that I seem to have forgotten to upload. Actually, I still have tons of food photos/restaurants that I haven't uploaded yet. So I'll just blog about them randomly.

Tokyo Cafe. The photos was taken around 2009 or 2010, I think. I fell in love with the food there because its comfortingly delicious.

White Seafood Pizza. This is my all-time fave at Tokyo Cafe. Soft-thin crust.

Seafood Pasta. There's a hint of spiciness that will make you crave for more. Yum!

Salad. I forgot what they call this salad. Its good. But then, I'm not really into salads. ;)
For Pizza Lover's

I love the not-so-thin but just-right-thin crust of Uncle Cheffy's Salmon Pizza. Also, it has a generous amount of cheese and served with salad- alfalfa sprouts and tomatoes.

Regular size costs P220. Not bad!
The pizza can be rolled also- think "Dear Darla" of Yellowcab.

I can't remember the name of the past but it tastes good!

Little Italy

There are certain days when our tummies crave for italian food (think pasta and pizza) and since daughter and I have been honing our culinary skills, we always end up with something creative - thanks to the food stuff available in the fridge or pantry.

Pasta with sausage, ground pork, steak bits. Added some sliced black olives, onion, garlic and olive oil. This is so good! However, I'm not sure if I can replicate this dish again, hahaha.

Herbed pumpkin soup and cheese puffs.

Tiny pizzas three-cheese pizza with black olives and garlic and basil. The cheese we used are cheddar, quesong puti and monterey jack.
