The Daily Coffee Notes Coffee Crawl continues and this time, we are highlighting five coffeeshops that we've visited. I am quite amazed because I am late into the coffee-game but definitely catching up.
Here's our new discoveries so far:
Goppion Caffe is actually a surprise find right in Glorietta. I think they've been there for quite some time but there location is a bit hard to find. Unless of course, you always frequent Jade Garden area or Palm Drive cor West Drive. But the coffee is here really, really good Italian coffee. They also sell beans and coffee grounds.
UCC Mentore is just one of the numerous UCCs around the Metro. We love the affogato and iced coffee here. They also serve delicious meals and sandwiches. We also love the location which is just beside Fairmont Hotel.
Coffee Academics is a Hong Kong coffee brand. We were able to visit their first cafe when it opened in Palanca Street Makati but that was already closed now. Their branches are now in SM Mega, BGC, and Robinson's Magnolia.
Banh Mi Kitchen serves Vietnamese iced coffee, of course. Their ca phe sua da is super, super good! And the banh mi also. We love the branch in Power Plant Mall.
Commune is the only homegrown among this list. It is located in Poblacion, Makati and has been serving not just good coffee, but beans and coffee accessories as well. If you're a love aficionado, then this is your happy place. And they also have two cuddly 'house' cats.
