TKGEats in Kuala Lumpur

Haven't traveled to Kuala Lumpur since 2019, so I'm a bit excited about this trip and looking forward to savor my favorites. Hubby and I stayed in KL Sentral area so traveling from one end to another is easy.

First meal in KL was at Roast King in KLIA. We were a bit hungry upon arriving at the airport so instead of having dinner somewhere in NU Sentral, we just chose the first one we saw that has roast chicken on the menu. Wrong move though because food was not at par with the ones we had in SG.

Moving on to Nando's the following day. Upon arriving at the hotel, we just bought some bread, milk and onigiris in Family Mart for our midnight snack. We skipped breakfast and just agreed to meet at Nando's in NU Sentral Mall for lunch. I love Nando's and food didn't disappoint BUT the serving portion became tiny!?

Next on my list is Godiva which is also located in NU Sentral Mall. Another favorite chocolatier whenever I travel. Sadly, they don't have my favorite Choco-Raspberry shake anymore so we just settled for Chocolate Shake. Yum! For dinner, we just bought onigiris again from Family Mart because it was already closing time when we arrived at KLCC Mall.

I had late lunch at Grandmama's the following day. I was tempted to order fried chicken (you can read my Grandmama's article here) but decided to order something different on the menu. I got Char Kway Teow with Seafood and Rose drink with condensed milk. Thumbs up! For dinner, we bought some bentos at Don Don Donki, hahaha! I think I am missing JaFUN!

It was raining the next day and while hubby went to his Day 2 seminar in MITEC, I just went around NU Sentral before deciding to buy takeout food from ABC Restaurant. This restaurant is famous for its Nasi Kandar dishes and they're open 24/7! I got myself Biryani with Ayam. Stay tuned for my separate post about ABC Restaurant because we ate here for several times more. That good!

Then I also discovered Nanyang Cafe in Pavilion Mall because of Uncle Roger. This Nanyang Cafe is different from the Nanyang here in Manila and the Nanyang Coffee in SG but it is quite popular in KL because food tastes great! Ordered soup and coffee. Weird pairing but it was raining outside so I wanted soup, BUT I also haven't had coffee in KL yet and hubby was able to try different coffee already including Gigi Coffee.

Lastly, I was able to order from Chagee before our flight to Penang. Chagee is a tea-shop originally from Taiwan and one of the current popular ones in KL.
