Birthday Lunch With Friendships At The Mercado

Had a nice birthday lunch with my friends at The Mercado in Resorts World Manila. Its just too bad that we can't take a decent photo inside the restaurant because the resto happens to be inside the casino. But I did manage to snap some shots using my phone but the resolutions not that great.


My salad plate. Just some veggies with ranch dressing. Then I got a chocolate muffin, which turned out to be really, really good.

I'm such a sucker when it comes to good food, especially good food that's friendly on the pocket. Here's another great promo that I saw on FB. Promo runs up to October 31, 2012 only. Still have enough time to visit. :)

Mercado

Mercado is one of the restaurants inside Resorts World in Pasay City. It is a buffet restaurant with delectable spread. Also, it is very affordable compared to hotel buffets.

















The food was excellent. The resto was serving a great spread of Filipino dishes that night that includes kalderetang kambing. Meeeeeeeeeeeeh!


Note: A few years ago, a friend invited me and hubby to have lunch at the newly opened Mercado. Although the choices that time were not that plentiful, we still manage to savor every bite. And yes, I love the ka-ching, ka-ching background music. ;)
