Wafu Goes Live with Exciting Offerings

Wafu celebrates its 4th anniversary this year and it has a line-up of exciting and mouthwatering dishes even for the picky eater. Wafu was conceptualized to merge exquisite dining ambiance and authentic Japanese cuisine. The restaurant boasts of nice interiors and a teppanyaki area at the second floor. Of course, Wafu also serves great tasting Japanese dishes with ingredients flown in weekly from Japan to give diners a gastronomic dining experience.

Here's teaser of what we ate.
Cold Platter: Toro, Hamachi, Salmon, Uni, Gruper, Aji and Tiger Prawn.
The colors and texture of the sashimi, and even the generous slice is what makes Wafu's Cold Platter a cut above the rest. No need to say more.

NEW RESTO ALERT: Vikings SM BF

I've been a fan of Vikings Buffet ever since they opened their first restaurant near Mall of Asia. The restaurant doesn't really have crazy lines back then but the food has been consistently good. So when I got an email invitation from Vikings SM BF to try out their newly opened branch down south, I didn't think twice about it.

So here's my first #eatlikeaviking plate: callos, baked oyster, pizza, and cheese.

Happiest Hour At UMU

Because we were craving for some Japanese food after our reservation mishap at Midas, we ended up at Umu Japanese Restaurant in Dusit Hotel. Also, we were on a budget since Christmas Season can really put a strain on your pocket. After making reservations at Umu, we were told that we can avail of the Happiest Hour Promo at P950 nett/head. Inclusive of unlimited beer and sake. Wow!
