Four Cheese Pizza

One day, daughter and I made pizza. We found four different kinds of cheese inside the fridge so we decided to make four cheese pizza - cheez whiz, cheddar, quickmelt, milk cheese. Tastes good!!! Also, this is a nice bonding activity at home. Try it! ;)

Adobo Pizza

Resorts World Manila is not your usual pizza place nor your usual resto. It's a posh casino place akin to those in Macau and in L.A. So the next question is, how is it related to Adobo Pizza?

This is what one calls serendipity. The choices on the menu board doesn't even include adobo pizza. There's the usual smatterin of quattro fromaggio, meat pizza, white pizza, etc. Luckily, serendity strikes. A foodie friend of a friend happens to be there and ordered Adobo Pizza for us.

Adobo Pizza

This pizza was super, super delish! The cheese doesn't overpower the taste of the adobo and vice versa. And the dough was also soft, just the way I like it.

Lumpiang Ubod

Homemade lumpiang ubod. I haven't eaten lumpia for quite some time and I chanced upon some fresh looking ubod in the grocery. Sauteed the ubod including round pork, wansoy, celery, onions and garlic. Not bad for my first-try :)
Kimbap / Gimbap

This is the Korean version of Japanese maki. However, they are only similar in appearance. With kimbap, one need not worry of dipping it in soy sauce and wasabi. Simply plop a kimbap in your mouth and chew.

The kimbap on the photo was made by the mom of my daughter's Korean classmate. It's the REAL thing!

I think I can eat this all day long :)
Tuna and spam variation.

RECIPE: TKG's Tea Eggs

Daughter's school celebrates Chinese New Year annually with a school program and a party. So this year, instead of buying machang or hakaw or siomai, I convinced daughter that I'll make tea eggs for her class.

I searched the internet for recipes and asked some friends how to go about it. Then I found out that its easy as saying 1-2-3. Really!

Go Greek!

This resto was a foodcourt favorite whenever I happen to pass by Glorietta in Makati. That's like 1-2x a year- ha ha! But still, the resto never fails to fill my empty and discriminating stomach.

Pita with Feta Hummus

I love the pita but the dip was super salty. Epic fail :(

Lamb Gyro

This is heaven on a plate! Lamb was very tender and flavorful. The potatoes and salad complimented the meat perfectly. The serving was also good for sharing. Costs P240 if I'm not mistaken. Not bad :)
Gong Cha

Being a tropical country, the Philippines has the advantage of selling cold drinks all-year-round. Luckily, there seem to be a boom when it comes to stores that specializes in milk teas.

The drink on the left is called Ice Cream Milk Tea. That's vanilla ice cream and milk tea. While the one on the right is the popular wintermelon milk tea (highly recommended).

I was meaning to take photos after ordering the drinks but its just so yummy that my daughter and I can't help but drink it at once. Will try to post a much more nice photo soon (if I remember!).
