FOOD FINDS: Premium Donuts by Dunkin Donuts

It was a nice Monday morning and I was early for my event which was somewhere in the south. Alas, I must've missed the important announcement and ended up farther than where I'm supposed to be. Oh well- haha. Luckily, the day was not really that hot, otherwise, I would've gone home or visited my cousins which happens to live a few minutes away from where I'm supposed to be.

Your Fave Breakfast At Italianni's

Mornings are l-o-v-e especially if you love breakfasts. And because Italianni's "cares" for us- customers, they are offering a choice of over 40 international breakfast dishes that you can think of and would love to eat.

I am a Pinoy-at-heart and I love Tapsilog. It's my all-time fave power breakfast. Just look at the photo and you'll know why. I love beef (tapa), the garlic fried rice and the sunny side-up. Heaven! My daughter loves pancakes and waffles, and my hubby favors light breakfast such as bread and fruits and a cup of coffee.

"I Love Breakfast at Italianni's"

We, Filipinos take pride in being breakfast eaters for we were all raised by our parents with the saying- "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." So it is kinda mandatory for us to chew on our breakfast as soon as we wake up every morning before we go to school or the office or even during weekends with the family.

So rise and shine to a brand new day because Italianni's has a lot of breakfast choices for all of us.

Banana Walnut Pancake. I love the combination of bananas and walnut- soft with a crunch! It would be nice if paired with chocolate syrup though. But I think one can request for it.

After a year's successful run, IHOP introduces on its menu five Filipino breakfast favorites and this will be available throughout the day in all of IHOP's branches here in Metro Manila (BGC, UP Town Center and SM MOA).

The new Filipino menu breakfast are exclusively for the Philippines only and will run for a limited time. IHOP Restaurant's pancakes, omelettes, stuffed French toasts, crepes, and other American breakfast have become instant hits since IHOP opened a year ago.

Savory Pork Longganisa, P375. I love any variant of longganisa so this is a sure winner for me. It also comes with a dipping sauce of vinegar with garlic bits. Yum!

Moms Brunch At Casa Roces

We (with JL and IL) haven't seen each other for quite sometime now that when IL texted us that she has a scheduled meeting with her daughter's adviser the following day and that she's available for breakfast.Chosen brekky place was in nearby Casa Roces, its just a short walk from where our kids go to school.

RECIPE: Beef Tapa

Daughter and I planned to make pancakes today but for some unknown reason, eating pancakes doesn't seem appetizing today. Maybe its the weather! Haha

Anyways, I have an unopened pack of frozen Angus Cow Beef Tapa in the fridge so thinking about what to cook for breakfast is a no-brainer.

Ingredients:

beef tapa, 100g
olive oil or any cooking oil
tomatoes, 5-6 pcs cubed
1 medium onion
chili flakes (optional)

Procedure:

Heat a small amount of olive oil in pan and add beef tapa. Cook beef tapa until its almost brown before adding tomatoes and onion. Remove from pan after 3 minutes or less, making sure not to overcook tomatoes or unless you want it cooked and juicy like I do. Transfer to a plate and serve with egg. No need for vinegar as the tomato lends its flavor.

Breakfast At News Cafe, Ramada Manila Central

February 22, 2013

I've been hearing about great food reviews about the breakfast buffet of Ramada Manila in Ongpin from co-parents at my daughter's school but it is only today that I was able to try it. And considering that it's a rainy Friday morning, I pray that the food will be delish. Buffet breakfast costs P400 nett.

UCC Breakfast

I'm not really a breakfast person but I can get up early once in a while especially when the "breakfast is right!"
