DAILY COFFEE NOTES: Tokyo Coffee Crawl Part 1

I used to get excited discover restaurants and 'new' food when we travel but now, I am adding coffee shops to my list of places to discover. So I'm sharing my list of the coffee shops that I have visited during my stay in Tokyo at the onset of spring season in March. Spring season is also the perfect time to discover coffee shops because the temperature calls for it.

UNIQLO COFFEE GINZA. This was an unplanned visit because we got caught in the rain, and it was really, really cold outside. Luckily, we found some available chairs at Uniqlo Coffee Ginza so here's to our first coffee in Tokyo. We ordered iced cafe au lait and iced original blend. Haha, iced! Taste is similar to sumiyaki or charcoal roasted beans.

NEW RESTO ALERT: Giuseppe Pizzeria and Sicilian Roast

I love discovering new restaurants, moreso if it's a newly opened one. And Giuseppe Pizzeria and Sicilian Roast is just that.

Guiseppe's is a popular restaurant in Bohol and Cebu, and has just opened a branch in Boracay.

NEW RESTO ALERT: Omotesando Koffee

Not another coffeeshop!

Omotesando Koffee is specialty coffeeshop in Tokyo and it opened its first branch at the Powerplant Mall late last year. Since its opening date, we've already visited the place a few times.

NEW RESTO ALERT: Elephant Grounds

We've been frequenting The Podium after the lockdown has eased its restrictions last year and Elephant Grounds has been one of our favorite restaurant discovery.

Daily Coffee Notes: Manila Coffee Crawl Part 1

We all know that the world stopped for about two years because of the pandemic but for some, it was a time of rediscovery. If there's something I learned about the pandemic, it is about how to make good coffee and discover good coffeeshops.
