Pegi Waffles: More Than Just Waffles

Pegi Waffles has been around for ages. I mean, they've been around since the late 90's although they don't have any more branches in the malls. We've been a fan of their waffles way back then but I didn't know that their store in P. Guevara is still open until I got invited to attend their food tasting courtesy of ZomatoPh.

Tuck in the residential 9th Avenue is the newly opened TG Beauty Cafe. This quaint-looking cafe used to be a part of Tony Galvez's salon but his clients encouraged him to open a cafe wherein they can sit and relax while they wait for their turn at the salon.

Rosanjin prides itself for its Tobanyaki, a modern style teppanyaki and Kaminabe, which is a a traditional Japanese hotpot that uses Japanese paper. The restaurant opened in SM Megamall  last year and the name was inspired from Kitaohji Rosanjin, who is a famous painter, chef, potter, and gourmet.

Balbacua At Ili-Likha Artist Village

Balbacua is a popular slow-cooked meat dish in Southern Philippines made from ox tail and beef. The one I ate had tripe so the meat ingredients are similar to that of kare-kare.

It was literally a cold and rainy night in Baguio when we came across Ili-Likha Artist Village along Assumption Road. We're not really hungry but we seek refuge from the rain so we entered the labyrinth village of cafes and restos.
