After spending the whole morning staring at sakura blossoms, and combing the shelves at Maruzen in the afternoon, we found ourselves at Ginza by nightfall. Then it rained and it was freezing cold, and having a hot drink to warm us is much needed. Then we saw this sign at Uniqlo!

As much as I would like to try new restaurants, we always end up dining at our favorites. And why not? The chance of getting disappointed is 2/10. 

This time though, I am with my cousins and they're all craving for seafood. We're staying at Savoy Hotel and it is quite far from the restaurants so I was thing we'll be dining somewhere in Station 1 or 2. But guess what? My cousin suggested Sababi. Yey!

DAILY COFFEE NOTES: Tokyo Coffee Crawl Part 1

I used to get excited discover restaurants and 'new' food when we travel but now, I am adding coffee shops to my list of places to discover. So I'm sharing my list of the coffee shops that I have visited during my stay in Tokyo at the onset of spring season in March. Spring season is also the perfect time to discover coffee shops because the temperature calls for it. 

UNIQLO COFFEE GINZA. This was an unplanned visit because we got caught in the rain, and it was really, really cold outside. Luckily, we found some available chairs at Uniqlo Coffee Ginza so here's to our first coffee in Tokyo. We ordered iced cafe au lait and iced original blend. Haha, iced! Taste is similar to sumiyaki or charcoal roasted beans.
